Gaahl, czyli tak naprawdę Kristian Eivind Espedal cztery lata temu powołał do życia zespół Gaahls Wyrd. W 2017 roku wydał koncertowe wydawnictwo Bergen Nov ’15. W najbliższym czasie, a dokładnie 31 maja 2019 roku ukaże się album GastiR – Ghosts Invited, a wydawcą będzie Season of Mist. Materiał zarejestrowano w Solslottet Studio, a producentem był Iver Sandøy.
